Motivators Inc. Adopts PPAI Product Safety Awareness Program

Motivators has been named an early adopter of Promotional Products Association International (PPAI)'s Safety Awareness Program.

WESTBURY, N.Y., November 26, 2013--One-hundred advertising specialty companies have already adopted PPAI's new Safety Awareness Program, and Motivators is proud to be among them.

PPAI is a respected leader when it comes to product safety. The organization not only provides safety information and education to industry professionals, but it also encourages discussion and engagement.

The new Safety Awareness Program is an important piece of PPAI's Pathway to Confidence, which focuses on building awareness about promotional products as a form of advertising.

"We want distributors to be confident in their suppliers, and vice versa," PPAI president and CEO Paul Bellantone, CAE wrote in an email. "... [We] want promotional products buyers to be confident not only in the power of the medium but in its safety."

Motivators has always made safety a priority. Five Motivators staff members have earned their CAS certification, which is achieved by participating in 75 hours of coursework, including product safety classes. Furthermore, the promotional items company offers products that are proposition 65 compliant and CPSIA compliant.

PPAI's Product Safety Awareness Program will launch in 2014. It will be compulsory for marketplace access at Expo East 2015.
